Joy is SHIT

JOY IS SHIT.

Yeah, I know. I’m the Joy Goddess. So why am I knocking joy?

Well, I’m not. Not really.

When I first started my business, I came on the scene with the message that we are here to live a joyful life. This is true. But my way of getting there was to help people reconnect with their inner child and learn to incorporate play throughout their day.

But this is only one-half of joy.Joy is when personal power brings about alignment.

Joy is when we fully realize ourselves as the powerful manifesting beings we are. Joy is about doing the work to bring about the life of our dreams.

My road has been far from easy. I have gone through a couple of huge deconstructive processes in quick succession in this past year.

Here is what I learned in that time: Joy isn’t strictly about Disneyland and playgrounds anymore. It hasn’t been for awhile. Here is what I also know to be true. We are masters of our destinies. But we have to be willing to sacrifice and work hard to clear emotional conditioning and deprogram ourselves to fully realize that power. So you want joy? You’d better put on some fucking galoshes and be willing to trudge through muck, the shit, the gunk to get it. Photo Credit: Unknown
